Civil Law I. This is the starting point of the Law degree, offering a structured overview of the legal system and its sources — including the effectiveness of the Constitution and the EU framework — and placing students in the origins, evolution, and reforms of the Civil Code. It then delves into Personal Law (capacity, civil status, age, marriage and kinship, nationality and civil residence, absence and death, the Civil Registry, personality rights, and data protection), culminating with the analysis of the legal transaction (elements, interpretation, and ineffectiveness). Competency focus: critical reasoning, legal communication, and handling legal sources (legislative, jurisprudential, and doctrinal) are reinforced through case resolution and guided debate. Methodology and workload are aligned with 6 ECTS and 180 total hours, including theoretical and practical classes, preparation, and tutorials.
