Commercial Law. It provides a solid understanding of the private-law structure of business activity and its relationship with economic reality, guiding the student in identifying the legal regime applicable to the entrepreneur and the business and in using interpretative tools specific to the field. The module follows the classic structure: the legal status of the entrepreneur, the Companies Register, industrial property and competition law; it then moves on to company law (incorporation, articles of association, the shareholder’s position, corporate bodies, amendments, and dissolution), before addressing negotiable instruments and means of payment—including electronic payments and cryptoassets—and commercial contracts (sale of goods and INCOTERMS, commission, agency, distribution, banking contracts, transport, and insurance). It concludes with insolvency law and its pre-insolvency solutions, arrangements, liquidation, and classification. It also strengthens transferable skills such as communication, information management, and critical reasoning, alongside the application of core legal concepts, through lectures and seminars, readings, tutorials, and coursework across a total of 180 hours of study.
